Recently, Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy, released the “2023 World’s 25 Most Valuable Chemical Brands” list. Every year, Brand Finance tests 5,000 of the largest brands and publishes more than 100 reports ranking brands across all industries and countries. The world’s 25 most valuable and strongest chemical brands have been included in the annual Brand Financial Chemicals 2023 ranking.
David Haigh, Chairman of Brand Finance, commented: “Brand value growth in the chemical industry has been steady, but has slowed over the past year. Historically, the industry has relied heavily on Russian gas. Chemical brands face further macroeconomic and supply chain challenges. In both the short and long term, brands need greater creativity and flexibility to deal with these obstacles. This includes brands maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to gain a competitive advantage.”
The list shows that Germany’s BASF is the global chemical industry leader for the ninth consecutive year, and this year is once again the world’s most valuable chemical brand with a brand value of $8.4 billion. In addition, Saudi Arabia’s SABIC ranked second with a brand value of $4.719 billion, and South Korea’s LG Chem ranked third with a brand value of $4.526 billion.
According to the relevant report of Brand Finance, the brand value of Rissun Petrochemical in 2023 is 2.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 12% over last year, ranking first among the most valuable brands in China’s chemical industry, and improving 1 place in the global ranking to 7th. Rongsheng Petrochemical was listed again, and its visibility and recognition in the international market were further enhanced.
